BLOW ONE IN 'EM

I am inclined to believe that the tranquilizer dart would be a wonderful tool to use in raising one's child(ren).

Or in calming down someone else's unruly child(ren).

How many times have you been standing in line somewhere and you see parents with children that appear to be "amped-up" from drinking cases of Red Bull? Their parents have completely lost control and it's obvious that they need your help.

Just grab your dart from your purse and blow one in 'em. Three, even (I skipped over "two" because I know it won't be enough. Red Bull is powerful). The parents will be shocked at first, but they'll come around.

"The nerve of this woman shooting sedatives into OUR children!"

As they see each of their children wobble to the ground and fall into an oh-so-peaceful slumber, they will smile with relief and ask you for the name of your supplier.

"Let me see that thing...you say the darts come in cases of 12?..."

I've finished three more Republics this weekend. I didn't get the chance to take pictures before I delivered them, but I made two beige ones and one black one. I'm absolutely in love with the black one and can't wait to make one for myself.

But of course, any personal knitting will have to wait until I finish the gift knitting. Now I can finally start Cousin Tim's Irish Hiking Hat. The tools have been waiting patiently for me to get started.
