One of my friends has been asking for one of these Bling bags ever since she saw a picture of one a couple of years ago. She gave me a subtle (ha!) reminder during a phone call one day that she still hasn't received one. So, while I was at her house for Christmas, I started knitting it. I'm almost done. I just have to crochet the belt loops and line it with that light blue crinkle fabric you see next to it.
I got to see Kristi's baby last night. Abigail is just beautiful. Oh that's when I found out that Peanut will not fit over Abigail's head. So I have to rip out the neckline and figure out something different.
A couple of days after Kristi had the baby, you know I had to ask her if it hurt. I just wanted to see if my vagina prayers were effective.
She said, "As the baby was coming out, it felt like someone had set a fire to my crotch."
Um, that's a "No".
See, Kristi had this baby with no drugs. No wimpy epidural for her. She said that it was because she didn't want it to affect the baby. Hell, that baby would just have to "shake it off". I just don't want to go through that much pain. FIRE? *lol*
Please.
Then she said something so insane that I almost wanted to slap her through the phone:
"But if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing."
