Sara's Hooters

I have basic jewelry making skills, so I can whip up a standard stitch marker. You know the basic formula: pretty beads hanging from a post attached to some sort of ring.  So, when I purchase markers, I like them to be made with unique beads that I can't find in my local craft store.
One day, I was minding my own business, looking for markers on Etsy and found these:

Well, butter my butt and call me a biscuit! (Can you tell I've been in The South too long?)  Aren’t they just darling hanging from my fancy schmancy size 10 Lantern Moon needles?

You know, one of my knitting buddies is into owls. Before she told me this, I never paid attention to owls. Now I zone in on any owl related item I see when I’m out and about. Owl statues, sweaters with owl pictures, owl earrings, owl towels.  I often take pictures of owl stuff with my phone and send them to her.  The same shop that sells the mitten markers also sells these cuties:

I bought these for her.  Her name is Sara.  Um, she might only get, like, three of them.  Heh.

Dragon Lady Designs is the name of the Etsy shop. It was very difficult to be good and not buy all the markers I fell in love with. The prices are reasonable and shipping was fast. She took care to individually wrap each one of the delicate owl stitch markers.  She has a large selection so you're bound to find something you like.
